Networks
I have for a long time recognised the importance of building networks both private, business and online networks. And I am present many places.
Online networks:
I use LinkedIn for several purposes, but mainly to collect and maintain my proffesional network. I have lately recognised the valuable groups and discussions as well. It has been very useful for accessing market knowledge for my different projects, as the scope has been on Brazil and other BRICM-countries.
I use Facebook, to keep track of old friends and connections with whom I do not have a proffesional relationship with. Facebook is for me just another way to communicate.
I’ve created a Twitter-account a couple of months ago, partly to catch up with the technology. But lately I recognised the importance of the “networks” possibility to bring me the most recent news within the “channels” I choose. I have chosen to post tweets related to my competences and the curriculum of my current master programme.
